FEDERAL WAY — Demetrius Bronson ran
for 249 yards and three long touchdowns as Kentwood
bounced back from a narrow loss to Puyallup to beat
Decatur 35-6 in a South Puget Sound League 4A
football game Thursday night. Bronson, a 5-foot-10,
200-pound senior who has committed to the University
of Washington, carried 17 times and scored on runs
of 35, 58 and 63 yards for the Conquerors (2-1
overall, 1-0 North Division). Kentwood lost 25-24 to
No. 4 Puyallup last week. Decatur (1-2, 0-1)
