Auburn Basketball Practice
11-17-05 in the Auburn Gym.
If your a coach looking to do some scouting here.... I'm not showing anything that doesn't go on in any other
gym. Having said that... these guys run a lot... I was worn out after 5 minutes of watching them run up and
down the floor. Coach Hansen and his staff run a pretty good practice with varsity on one side of the gym and
the JV team on the other. I could hear some more going on in a upper gym but I don't know who that was.
The Trojans don't have a lot of height but they got some players. Some of the guys I recognize from last year
are Aaron Casad, 6'2" post, Noble'D Shelton 5'10" guard.. he'll be all league I'm sure, T.J. Stafford a Soph. that
impressed me in the Summer League Finals against Federal Way. Jake Guinn a 5'8" guard is another I know and
some of the others I just can't put names with faces yet. Their first game of the year will be a non league game
at home against Stadium of Tacoma on November 26th... here is their whole schedule in the Seattle Times.
The boys at High Voltage Hoops did a team review and you can read it here.
I pick Auburn in my Top 4 in the North this year and they will play some exciting basketball. I look for
them to make the playoffs. Good Luck to the Trojans and thanks to Coach Hansen for inviting me
to practice.Click a picture to see a larger view.
