This game ended up at French Field thru the efforts of the Sign Language Teacher at K-M Mrs. Graves. Her son is
#15 for WSD Matthew Graves. The game was a home game for Lopez Island. A return game will be in Vancouver on
October 27th, which will be homecoming for WSD. This is Lopez Island's 2nd year with a football program and so far
this year they are undefeated at 4-0. WSD drops to 1-3. Sign Language students from all 4 Kent High Schools
were involved doing everything from making signs, fixing lunches and members of the K-M Football team were the
Chain Gang on the sidelines. The King County Journal writers and photographers were there and will have a story
in the Thursday Paper... I'll link to it when its on line. This was my first B8 game I have ever seen and its a wide open
affair... and let me tell you thing... these teams play with all the gusto that the big schools do.. lots a heavy hitting
out there... the first half I was on the field and the second half I was up in the Press Box. I hope you enjoy the photos.
